Technical Sales Engineer (Multilingual)

We are seeking a dynamic and driven multilingual Sales Engineer to join our team.  This role is based in the UK with the flexibility to work remotely with regular visits to our Head Office in Aberdeen.  The ideal candidate will possess language proficiency, particularly, Spanish, Portuguese and/or French and be comfortable with global travel when required.

Key Responsibilities //

Including but not limited to:

  • Identify and convert new leads into customers.
  • Develop and maintain existing relationships with customers to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services and enhancements.
  • Understand customer needs and suggest appropriate products.
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrate how products meet client needs.
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements.
  • Represent IK Trax at events and exhibitions.
  • Support marketing with content creation.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management.
  • Collaborate with Technical Subject Matter experts to convert sales.
  • Submit quotes to clients and follow up as necessary.
  • Prepare reports as requested.
  • Record and maintain client contact and inquiry data.

Skills & Experience //

  • Proficiency in English plus another languages.
  • Ability to travel globally as required.
  • Previous experience in pipeline pre-commissioning, pipeline inspection or instrumentation.
  • Previous experience in outside sales role preferred.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter with a track record of delivering and driving results.
  • Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Highly organised and able to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexible and approachable.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-focused and results-driven.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Experience with CRM Package (e.g Hubspot, Salesforce)
  • Ability to priotitise workload and make constructive recommendations for business improvement.
