Magnetic, Acoustic & Electromagnetic Pig Detection
TriSig is an ATEX and IECEx compliant, non-intrusive, PSU powered pig signaller which quickly and accurately detects, signals and logs the passage of pigs at critical points along a pipeline both onshore and offshore.
Pig Passage Certainty
Removes any uncertainty over confirmation of pig passage with three detection methods. Acoustic sensors monitor the vibrational and acoustic noise produced as a pig moves through a pipeline while magnetic sensors detect changes in the magnetic field generated as a pig fitted with magnets moves through a pipeline. In addition, magnetic sensors can detect electromagnetic signals emitted by a transmitting pig as it passes through a pipeline.
Visibility of Pig Passage
The events are then signalled as they occur via a number of communication methods including a high brightness LED positioned on top of the signaller, Bluetooth and RS485 Modbus RTU bi-directional communication. The unit logs the time and date of up to 99 events. Logged events can be viewed remotely over several optional interfaces.

Can be mounted directly to the pipeline using mounting plates or installed on a post where required.
